Since 2000, Mark has served as the Founding Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Timothy Financial Counsel, Inc. Mark oversees the mission, vision and values of the firm. Aside from overseeing the financial planning process for all Timothy Financial clients, he leads the servicing of select high net worth and highly complex clients. Since joining the fee-only financial planning industry in 1995, he is active in the industry, including as a National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) Registered Financial Advisor where he has served as the Regional President and Chair, as well as on the National Board of Directors.Mark is regularly asked to speak at conferences and on podcasts, most recently (April 2023 and September 2024) the Morningstar Longview podcast hosted by Christine Benz. He has been interviewed and/or quoted be a variety of publications over the years such as Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and Michael Kitces' Advisor Success Podcast. In 2021, he co-authored the book A Matter of Time: Myths & Methods for the Hourly Financial Advisor.Outside of work, Mark serves on various for profit and non-profit boards and maintains a joyfully busy life with his family, church, and community. Mark and his wife, Cheryce, live in Wheaton, Illinois.
