I served as the lead data manager for the GuLF Study—a prospective cohort health study of individuals who helped with oil spill response and clean-up after the Deepwater Horizon disaster. My main responsibilities included directing all data management activities on the project and serving as the liaison between investigators, students, and collaborators for study data. I assisted with questionnaire development and programming for the most recent follow-up telephone interview. He routinely provides internal reports related to the data collection effort and monitors survey data quality on a routine basis. In addition, I assisted the analysis team by preparing analytic datasets, performing analyses as needed, and QC of analysis programming.

As a research and policy associate for the Commission, I assisted with the management, cleaning, and analysis of arrest, sentencing, and recidivism data for juveniles and adults involved in the criminal justice system in the State of North Carolina; assisted with literature reviews and other research-related tasks for members of the Commission and various subcommittees; assisted with routine report writing and presenting results to members of the commission.

Developed and administered university surveys using SAS/IntrNet and Qualtrics. Analyzed quantitative and qualitative survey data. Created routine and requested reports for a variety of survey projects and presented results to various groups on campus. Served as one of three Qualtrics Administrators who provided technical support and training for on-campus users.
