I was responsible for all finance, risk, compliance and AML/CTF. I was also a Key Person and a Responsible Manager for the AFSL.In mid 2023 the founder sold half the business to the Boston Global Group. The AFSL will be used for an increased variety of funds management. Clients will remain wholesale. As the business is expected to grow, additional people are being engaged and my role will focus on being a Responsible Manager.

My initial focus was the company’s solvency; all creditors were back in terms within four months. I also enhanced governance, planning and reporting during this period.The next phase was development of a business plan to achieve long term profitability. Implementation of the business plan was delayed whilst the Board considered an offer from Parmalat/Lactalis to purchase the business, which was finalised in late March 2014.My role under Parmalat/Lactalis ownership then changed to Site Manager, with the focus on integrating the business from being a family owned business into part of the world’s largest dairy group.
