Responsibilities included implementing a user centered design process within the unique constraints of a military environment. Collected user analysis from various exercises (JFCOM, JFEX) subject matter experts and user training events. Articulated findings via presentations, personas, scenarios and other UX requirement documentation. Evaluated functionality with end-users via interactive participatory events, heuristic evaluations and classic usability evaluation studies. Evaluations also included work with motion simulator (MOOG 6DOF200E) and touch screen functionality. Lead designer for a variety of projects, among them - work to enable system usage in a vehicle (MBCOTM), optimizing a multi-screen application for single screen usage and designing a zooming (ZUI) interface. Responsible for design input and evaluation of a prototype for a DARPA project (Capture) to integrate digital paper/pen technology. Created and performed evaluation of unique time slider functionality, communicated findings in a research paper.
