Responsible for the project management, design and implementation of the learning and development strategy, cultural change program and online training within Fitness First. All programs delivered through blended learning principles with the use of varying technologies, resources, and external providers to engage the learner, increase speed to learn, improve employee capability and deliver business and performance results. Consulting with senior management team and executive team members on key management / HR projects to support the delivery of the Fitness First people strategy.Key achievements:• Design, development and implementation of the first mobile responsive learning management system and online learning framework (To the value of $400K)• Management of the learning and development budget ($1.1million).• Consult and procure external training providers to support the delivery of essential learning strategies.• Launch and facilitation of 2015 rebranding and cultural change program ($1.5 million (ASD) Budget). The six-month program delivered across five states to over 3500 Employed and Franchise Fitness Firsters (management of $1.2million budget).• A selection of provider and roll out of Learning Management ($95k yearly investment in Learning Management System).• Delivery of company leadership programs including, Club Manager Development program (delivered to 95 CM’s in 5states), HOD Management Development Program (budget of $350K) and CM Future Leader Program.• Development and implementation of competency based assessment centers for Club Manager and Sales manager restructure.

Responsible for the support of 6 Regional Business Managers (56 clubs) and the Divisional Manager through the delivery of generalist HR advice and guidance (Recruitment, L&D and HR consult). Providing the first point of contact for HR / ER issues for employees in FF North UK (1800+ employees). Design, implementation and communication of Fitness First UK learning & development initiatives, supporting national recruitment and HR team with talent management and recruitment requirements. Provision of performance and talent management support for Divisional Manager and advise on the strategic approach to proactive recruitment.Key Achievements:• Implementation and embedding of the HR Business Partner role in Fitness First UK.• Design, delivery and evaluation of the Future Leaders development program (including competency assessment centers for internal and external FL’s) –60 employee’s trained in 2010 and placed in CGM roles.• Recruitment of future talent into the business covering the four pillars of the strategy map – through the use of talent management tools, measurements, and resources.• Provided support to the UK and Global Human Resources team. Designing & Delivering Customer Care & Insights development programs to increase employee and leadership capability. (Benelux Region and across Europe).

Responsible for the delivery and development of both functional and leadership training within the Northern division of Fitness First UK. Working along side the Business Managers of each region to develop the bench strength of talent and grow the productivity of there teams through training and development.

Both Fitness First Stoke and Runcorn as Future Winner clubs were businesses which needed developing to achieve and maintain their profit and achieve budgets on all areas of the scorecard. The Clubs exceeded 9 months subsequent sales budgets and achieved EBITDA consistently during my management, maintaining profit through the financial year.
