The Los Angeles Times, in a 2013 review, called me "a superb actor, if ever one lived." Well, to hell with modesty: I'll accept the compliment, and hope it inspires your interest. I'm proud, and very lucky, to make my living doing what I love; especially after dropping out of my career for 17 years and picking it up again in mid-life. Transformation--"rearranging my molecules," as Queen Meryl puts it--is what I love most. In addition to stage and screen acting, I do a lot of voice work, which includes a wide range of accents and personas. I also direct/teach/coach now and again. I'm over-educated and dangerously literate, which sometimes causes me to take pen in hand; however, I'm generally too lazy to do rewrites, which means I have a miniscule amount of published work and a lot of interesting first drafts mouldering in boxes and ancient hard drives.
