Together with my wife Ruth, we managed the Albatross Backpacker Inn.We implemented many changes including introducing communal meals, adding free herbs and oil to the communal kitchen, taking away the TV, adding a guitar, and adding a "cozy corner". Trailfinders is a multi-award winning independent travel agent and tour operator specialising in tailormade and round the world holidays.During my 4 years I progressed to the Specialist Tailormade Department where I soon became the most successful consultant in the department. My final 6 months was spent in the First & Business Class Department.I left Trailfinders to go travelling to South America, China and South Asia and eventually to live in New Zealand.
