I am an experienced strategic marketing and business development professional with over 25 years practical experience in director level, client-side strategic marketing roles and as a marketing strategy consultant. As Chief Marketing Officer at Sysmex UK I am responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing and business strategy. I am also responsible for designing and leading change across the organisation in support of strategy execution. I also have direct commercial responsibility for the expansion of the company into new business areas. This has included developing a competitive value proposition to re-position Sysmex UK as a Primary Managed Service Contract provider enabling the company to successfully enter this market. I have also been responsible for developing and delivering market entry strategies into the Laboratory Automation, Urinalysis and Flow Cytometry market sectors. Prior to joining Sysmex UK in 2013, I successfully ran my own consultancy business, Total Marketing Solutions (TMS), for over 8 years. Working at Board level, TMS delivered value adding strategic marketing and business development consultancy advice and services to a wide range of both B2B and B2C customers. Through working client-side and as a consultant I have acquired considerable experience and expertise in developing and successfully implementing high impact marketing and business development strategy. In addition I have developed an expertise in managing & leading change as an enabler of successful strategy implementation.
