My passion is working with small, high calibre teams to develop new business ideas underpinned by data analytics, emerging technology and consumer trends. My focus is on building successful businesses that deliver healthier communities, sustainable solutions, and environmental benefits.I’ve delivered significant growth via a portfolio of positions to organisations ranging from a few people to government bodies. These posts have seen me support the execution of high-profile international expansions and the launch of innovative start-ups. I have a particular expertise in identifying market opportunities for innovative organisations and designing integrated strategies to rapidly achieve sustainable advantage. This results in boosts to financial investments, competitive positioning and, ultimately, profits. I was the original CTO for the Nectar loyalty program (for which Computing Magazine awarded me ‘IT Manager of the Year’) and have subsequently founded three other companies based around the use of data-driven marketing and incentives. My board experience includes companies in the energy, property, retail, health and entertainment sectors and I have consulted internationally on the use of data and customer loyalty across a similar range of market sectors.I operate as a trusted adviser in the boardroom, creating cohesion and commercial unity among executive teams through mentoring, coaching and facilitated workshops. This allows board members to align their people and priorities with the overall business objectives, promoting the successful realisation of ambitious goals. I am strategy focused and my approach is to collaboratively develop a clear commercial and go-to-market vision. Please feel welcome for to connect for a conversation about how I can support your board to optimise the performance of your business.
