Directly and indirectly was responsible for a professional team of 1,200 government and industry personnel. Executed procurement of 46 aircraft a year and sustainment of the USN and USMC 1,000 aircraft inventory with $2.7 billion total obligation authority. The premier strike fighter for the Sea Service, the dynamic problem solving and intricate planning was all encompassing. Being included in, and given the opportunity to lead, such a high performing team was humbling and exhilarating at the same time.
