• Managed a team of 10 software engineers, including 2 SDETs that were responsible for our core programmatic ad serving and ad targeting platform backend written in Scala and leveraging the openRTB protocol. This was a high scale distributed system processing hundreds of thousands of requests per second.• As a hands-on leader, I architected and built a new product offering in 7 months that added over $5 million in annual revenue.• Owner and maintainer of our core Machine Learning recommendation engine.• Responsible for leading cross-functional teams in migrating our infrastructure and services from AWS to Google Cloud.• Increased uptime of our systems from ~99.3% to ~99.99% while maintaining business KPIs.

• This was a hybrid role where I managed the team and was an individual contributor for many of our ad serving products. I led a team of 7 SDETs and manual testers to ensure quality of all internal and external facing systems and services.• Reduced testing time of our SDK products from 1 month to 2 weeks.• Implemented, improved, and enforced testing methodologies, defect tracking systems and release processes custom to each engineering team.

• Responsible for being the rotating Quality Engineering resource on multiple teams and projects: front-end web testing, mobile testing, data validation, and machine learning algorithm validations.• Developed multiple python automation frameworks to do full regression, smoke tests, and load testing for our ad serving product and do data validation in MySQL, Kafka, Amazon SQS, MongoDB, and Redshift. This reduced testing time by ~95%.• Responsible for maintaining test environments using Jenkins and Docker (deploying code, maintaining test databases, and troubleshooting issues).
