Working on designing and building event websites that are beneficial to visitors, delegates and exhibitors by incorporating a range of innovative website modules.

Working on the design and construction of high standard, fully responsive, content managed, web compliant websites which rank well with Google and follow the latest web standards.Duties include liaising with the Business Director for client briefs to present design proposals. Taking into consideration time and budget constraints and following company standards. Using the web-based project management application Trello to work with multiple projects at one time and updating completion statuses with staff.Continuing designing websites in the job has allowed me to apply my design skills and learn new techniques from researching into latest design trends and discussing ideas and concepts with clients and staff members for designs to deliver presentable proposals. These designs have won several ‘site of the month’ entries under the company’s award scheme.On the job training as well as attending courses through the company has been a great benefit for me as my knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP and Wordpress are now at an advanced level and I have a good understanding of WooCommerce, Magento, Drupal, Git and SASS.

Working on extensive content changes and coding updates to the company’s existing websites as well as constructing bulk email templates and managing the system configuration, distributions list and delivery. Integrating website templates into the company’s bespoke content management system together with training and supporting clients in the use of this system. Using the company’s timesheet tracking software to record billable work, together with producing quotes for proposal and tenders. My experience of this has meant that my time management skills are now at a high degree.Prioritising workload and multitasking in order to successfully manage projects. Liaising with the Creative Director at all times.Coding to WCAG Accessibility guidelines for many projects during my time there has resulted in me being very aware of web accessibility.From this I now have a greater understanding of the responsibilities involved in the success, survival and growth of a small business enterprise.
