As part of my tasks as a receptionist, I use Opera Cloud to control the reservation system in the hotel. I am skilled in Opera, being able to do check-ins, check-outs, room moves, post charges/payments, print folios, account for overbookings, run the night audit and more.Working alongside 2-3 other colleagues in the night, we make sure to delegate tasks between us. I am usually based in the reception area, but am able to help out in other areas if necessary.Outside of manning the reservation system, I also do tasks that develop my experience in Sales, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage. These include charging customers at the till, restocking the drinks container, serving the legal measurements of drinks, cooking pizzas & breakfast in the kitchen, while following food safety procedures as well as providing occasional laundry services throughout the night.
