On radio, I have played a variety of formats, usually emphasizing vintage music. In live shows, I play foot-tapping music that keeps folks on the dance floor. The merger did not work out well, and on April 1, 2014, as soon as my 3-year non-compete expired, I relaunched Advent. Finally, on April 1, 2023, I fully retired, and turned Advent over to long-time employee and partner, Darvin Goodrum.

They hired most Advent employees and took over the facility, but did not want the Advent name. I stayed with AAA for almost two years, then took a break. After my non-compete agreement expired, I relaunched Advent.The new Advent was lean and able to quickly respond to customer needs. On April 1, 2023, exactly 40 years after launching Advent, I retired and turned the business over to Darvin Goodrum. -
