Initially performed a historical analysis of Alternative Investments and Private Equity which resulted in the discovery of more than $1MM in unclaimed funds. Efficiently managed liquidity as well as new investment funding, and capital calls across 30+ hedge funds, 90+ brokerage accounts, as well as 20+ private equity funds and 100+ direct venture investments. Developed and implemented a monthly reporting process to aggregate values of Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Derivatives, Commodities, Options, Fixed Income, and Equities, across various firms, accounts, and custodians, into individual partner ownership, for allocation and exposure analysis. Created internal investment composites for performance reporting. Performed IRR analysis of Private Equity investments. Oversaw team of book keepers recording daily cash flows. Oversaw the monthly general ledger updates to investment asset accounts.

Served as the primary operations contact for Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Private Wealth Management. I was responsible for all operation’s controls and oversight of 3000+ Private Wealth and Small Business Portfolios invested in Municipal Bonds, Equities, MBS, Options, and Futures with oversight of PWM Portfolio Control team and the offshore PWM Reconciliation team. As a Portfolio Control Admin (PCA) team leader my primary function was to minimize operational risk, and resolve any operational issues without disruption of day to day trading activities. During that time I developed and trained an Off Shore operations group in all aspects portfolio accounting, reconciliation, and issue resolution, actively managed the failed trade resolution life cycle effectively mitigating trade breaks, by prioritizing and delegating to team PCA team members. Verified the integrity of daily calculated P/L and other performance analytics. Provided final sign-off on the monthly client statement generation process. As a member of the MARS (Multi-currency Accounting and Reconciliation System) Team, I acted as liaison between Client Services and Securities Operations departments. Often I was required to prepare various ad-hock reports for Client Services to deliver to pension fund clients. A primary function was to Investigated and resolved discrepancies between accounting and custodian records. In addition to my primary function my responsibilities also included determining the impact of corporate actions and reorganizations on holdings, adjusting tax lot cost basis when applicable, as well as coordinating and preparing documentation in support of ERISA and other audits. These various functions and responsibilities culminated in the Monthly preparation and delivery of Trust Fund Account Statements for domestic and global client portfolios containing equities, fixed incomes, and derivatives.

After being selected and accepting a campus recruiting offer, I participated in an extensive skill evaluation and training rotation after which I was assigned to Bank of New York's Mutual Fund Portfolio Account Division.Responsible for the daily NAV calculation of multiple JP Morgan mutual funds including privately placed mortgage funds. Activities included, finding and resolving any and all discrepancies in Interest Payments, Accruals, and Paydowns, maintaining Current and Original Face Values of fixed income assets, calculating daily futures margin variations, posting capital share subscription and redemptions, and providing Portfolio Managers with daily liquidity reports. Detailed account reports were produced each month and quarter end.
