An iOS App using the iPad as it’s client platform and AWS (The Cloud) and Java Programming as the backend server platform. Lead the development and QA of this application with a target Release by Feb 1 2017. It is now in Pilot with several Anesthesiology Groups interested in purchasing. Building this product with high quality was key in getting Doctors to accept it.• Worked very closely w/Anesthesia Doctors in ensuring the design was clean and intuitive• Built a very strong Dev and QA team offshore• TTM was critical so making key design/code trade-off decisions was crucial to getting the product done on time w/high quality.• Put in place and followed a strong Agile process• Since we didn’t have Product Management I had to serve in the role of working w/the Doctors and the team to ensure we were building the “right” product, with little product direction and significant ambiguity in terms of the original design.

We’ve just opened up a local office of a national organization, the Medical Revenue Management Association of America (MRMAA). In this capacity as a CMRM (Certified Medical Revenue Manager) we consult w/Doctors, helping them achieve the full revenue potential of their medical practices by providing complete medical services & products in front office management (scheduling, billing, collections, automated recovery services, etc.), back office management (EMR, electronic documentation services, patient portals, HIPAA compliancy/training, procedure/diagnosis coding, Physician Credentialing) as well as patient loyalty/communication programs. The team we work with has over 500 practicing affiliates/CMRMs as well as a very strong back end support organization. We process 100's of thousands of claims/year in many different medical specialties with as high as a 98% initial acceptance rate on submitted claims. We've significantly improved the financial returns of the medical practices we've consulted with.*** The Medical Revenue Management Association of America was established to provide training, support and certification for individuals seeking to specialize in the management of the medical revenue cycle in private practices. MRMAA provides training in all aspects of improving and managing the practice revenue, including claims filing, handling denials and appeals, optimizing patient receivables, reducing expenses, expanding and retaining the patient base, checking eligibility and utilizing the latest in technology to maximize all aspects of the cash flow in a medical practice.
