I started at Sysmex as Assistant Director of Branding, where I was responsible for the brand throughout the EMEA region, including 23 affiliate companies. In addition to this brand guardianship, I was co-responsible for product marketing, including the website, brochures, newsletters, etc. Later responsibilities as Assistant Director Corporate Communications included communications strategy, campaigning, etc.

Yolk is one of the Netherlands' leading agencies for change management - in particular when it involves The New way of Working. I am Senior editor for all English language communications. I have worked with Yolk for nearly a decade. Like said, recently we have been focusing on Het nieuwe werken, or the New Way of Working at various Dutch and international (listed) companies. I've also written, edited and translated numerous corporate magazines for them, as well as been responsible for and involved with websites, newsletters, internal communications projects, change management communications, etc.

With Coolbrands, I'm involved in promoting the idea of storytelling. After first identifying the brand identity - the corporate character if you like - we tell the brand story or other tales related to the brand. Without embellishing too much. Overly instilling hype. I have been working as a translator and writer for Nyenrode for the last seven years and it has been exciting to see the positive developments within the organisation. Nyenrode is one of the top business schools in the Netherlands.For the last three years I have been translating their alumni magazine every two months which is sent to the university's alumni all around the world.

At IMD - one of the leading business schools in Europe, I was responsible for web copy and magazine contributions each month.

I fulfilled various roles at TNT, starting with writing for their World Food Program initiative. Until a change in format in their publications, I wrote the TNT Social Responsibility Reports. In 2007, TNT won a major Dutch national award for the report and came top two years running in the global Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
