As a Modularization Consultant, I work on Modularization Projects where we investigate how product families can be made in a smarter way to increase the reuse of components across our product line to amongst others reduce the number of components we need to stockkeep and maintain. I also take part in maintaining and improving the tools we use for modularization.

I started my career as a Global Graduate at Grundfos. That job meant that every 6 months I changed department and area of work giving me experience in very different roles and customer areas quickly. In my first rotation, I worked with sales development in the water utility division. This role involved outlining the current sales situation of the product, identifying areas that can be improved, and then planning and implementing improvements to these areas.In my second rotation, I worked in the Control department under Technology Innovation. Here I did a technical evaluation of a potential product to integrate into Grundfos portfolio. Further, I supported one of our divisions in the development of use/business cases for the product. In my third rotation, I was stationed in Singapore where I worked in our Industry APAC main office with sales development. More specifically I worked with commercial excellence and commercialization of some of our digital solutions.In my last rotation, I worked in our modularisation department. Here we work on developing architectures that support Grundfos in reusing more components/modules to bring down the number of components/modules we need to maintain and stock.

The work consisted of, among other things, cashier service, filling of goods, sorting of bottles and guidance of customers. For the last 1.5 years, I was also responsible for closing the store, which meant that I was responsible for the store during the last hours of the workday.
