My role includes many duties and responsibilities. Generally I deal with the day to day management of the business and ensure that everything is running smoothly and correctly.The activities of Prochem Services are covered by the Pressure Equipment Directive and it is my responsibility to ensure we comply with this and other health and safety regulations. We are also an ISO 9001 2015 accredited company.I oversee the sales department at Prochem Services and will often present our products and equipment to potential clients and customers by way of onsite presentations and outside exhibitions. Prochem Services is a well-established and respected company and we pride ourselves on excellent quality control and customer satisfaction. We have a standard range of equipment which we frequently modify to suit specific criteria. With 30 years’ experience in the industry we have the skills to design and develop bespoke equipment for both OEMs and end users. An important part of my job is providing quotations for such projects.Everything begins at the design stage and once the team at Prochem Services are satisfied the product will work as planned,I am involved in managing the development and production processes. After two years I was promoted to senior technical sales engineer and in 2000 I became the sales and marketing director and also a shareholder.AC Hydraulics have been trading since 1977 and are an ISO 9001 accredited business. This experience helped me develop good problem solving skills to find solutions for customers and clients. During my time at A C Hydraulics I increased my own sales from £245,000 to just under £1 million in 2008.As the sales and marketing director my marketing responsibilities included organising advertising, promotions, exhibitions and content for our website. As well as ensuring search engine optimisation of the website I had other IT related responsibilities. In this area I took responsibility for our server, network, workstations, telephone system and all computer software.

I began as a mould toolmaker manufacturing and servicing injection mould tools. In 1988 I was promoted from toolmaker to toolroom supervisor.
