I am a natural resources lawyer, independent trustee and non-executive director. My professional work is around the relationship between business and the environment. I specialise in biodiversity, waste, mining, industrial and infrastructure developments, energy, water, and tourism. I have a strong 'for-purpose' element to my practice, including advising international environmental organisations, formerly chairing one of NZ's leading 'grass roots' conservation trusts, being a former member of the NZ Conservation Authority, and a trustee on other conservation and community development related trusts.I bring an international perspective to my work, being involved in several international environmental, business and conservation organisations.
