Mark Jacinto, known as Mark to his peers and colleagues, has been deemed as a weaver of connections because of his belief that everyone is interconnected and interrelated, and his passion to connect everyone, especially young leaders and youth organizations to each other towards making a mark, together. It is highly shown in his leadership as the Curator of the Online SDG Youth Action Forum, an online youth community support and development organization aiming to bridge young leaders and youth organizations towards helping them advance themselves to effectively contribute for the SDGs. As of now, the community has around 24,200+ members on Facebook, and has connected 18,000+ young leaders, to 900+ international, regional, and national opportunities. Mark is also involved as the Club Information and Communication Officer of Rotary Club of Midtown Quezon City, wherein he supervised over 100+ projects on environment, education, empowerment, and economy, and benefitted 35,000+ individuals, and 1,500+ families from its efforts.His desire to weave and connect young leaders and youth organizations with each other has led him to be recognized as one of the iVolunteer Champions for 2021, one of the Circle of Youth of YOUTHOPIA, one of the Eco-Business A-List Youth for 2021, one of the 25Under25 Global Legacy Awardees of Common Purpose, and the Outstanding Youth Leader Award of International Leaders and Achievers Award 2022. Mark’s passion to weave people with each other has also led him to do 400+ speaking engagements to schools, organizations, startups, and other entities in the local, national, and international level.
