I specialize in design and development of new and innovative product ranges for the largest household name brands in Canada. Over the past 20 years I acquired a diversity of global experience, working across CPG, consumer electronics, homegoods, cookware, furniture, and entertainment categories, with leading organizations and brands including: JM&A, Canopy Growth Corp., Groupe SEB, Loblaw's President's Choice, and Umbra. My work has resulted in relationships all major Canadian retailers such as; Loblaws Real Canadian Superstores, Costco, Walmart, Canadian Tire, Hudson's Bay, TJX/Winners and Crate & Barrel.In addition to working with incumbent organizations, I have helped initiate building new brands from inception to household equity. I have also worked closely to manage multimillion dollar projects across; sales, marketing, packaging, store planning and logistics teams to ensure their success and growing presence to acquire market share.Complimenting this work, is my application of design thinking and applied foresight methods within the retail and commercialization space. I’m a tactful negotiator with domestic and overseas manufacturing vendors and has an affinity for creating mutually beneficial lasting partnerships with vendors that are continually transacting in the long term. My deep understanding of manufacturing techniques and process for a wide variety of product categories has contributed to my success.I enjoy maintaining involvement in academia as both a guest lecturer and instructor, developing curriculum speaking on my professional experience with mass-appeal design, design thinking and applied foresight at both Sheridan College and The Ontario College of Art and Design.
