During his career with Standard Bank, 13 years were spent in the Procedure Design area, of which 4 years were as the manager of the area where he had up to 12 subordinates reporting to him. Whilst in this area a duty of the position was to attend JAD sessions where they provided input into the proposed processes. Where processes did not exist a process had to be documented in a tabular format in MS Word. Eighteen months were spent in a Process Analyst/Controller position. The core functions of this position were to document processes as well as ensure the process standards were strictly adhered to. He is PROSCI Change Management certified and has also completed his Six Sigma Yellow belt training. The process tools that he has been exposed to and used are WBM/ARIS/QPR/VISIO.
