My experience in manufacturing, engineering, maintenance and restoration began with an interest in antique and high performance automotive as a teenager, mostly related to American "muscle cars" from the 1950's, 60's and 70's. The ability to maximize performance with the available technology and market these products always fascinated me due to their design as a form of manufacturing art that involves our everyday lives. This passion encompasses my hobbies and transfers to my career in manufacturing.My leadership background includes 6 of the over 10 years as a US Navy active duty construction equipment mechanic. Following an honorable discharge, I began a career in manufacturing as a machinist, then using my leadership experience, continued as a Production Supervisor. I have managed various manufacturing functions throughout my career including production, quality control, inventory, shipping, paint and finishing, product testing, facilities and compliance. I have worked 3rd, 2nd and most recently 1st shift.My philosophy is that success is developed in a teamwork environment.
