ACHIEVEMENTS• Doubled the size of the Japan business in 14 months after being the same size for 4 years in a row and attained this growth in a declining market. • Gained EA Japan's best team health survey results in the 10 years of operation.• Changed global communications strategy for a new IP launch in Japan resulting in Japan achieving the highest sales for EA globally for the launch.• Re-engineered the trading model for Japan allowing for the greater opportunity for consumer acquisition to achieve cited results above. • Won the APAC inaugural ‘Gabbie Badman’ award for the APAC team member that was voted to go over and above the expectations of the role for the year. • Won Sega’s publishing partner of the year in Japan based on the creation of win win solutions that lead to commercial outcomes for both Sega and EA. -
Director - Asia Insights, Analytics & Demand PlanningElectronic Arts (Ea) Apr 2014 - Jan 2018Redwood City, Ca, UsRESPONSIBILITIES• Lead the APAC insights and analytics organisation, using research (qual and quant) and analytics (prescriptive, predictive, and diagnostic) to unveil insights and use them to develop commercial and marketing strategies.• Created the Asia insights and analytics organisation allowing EA to gain ‘live' insights across the consumer journey, inclusive of purchasing, play and post purchase journeys.ACHIEVEMENTS• Determined payment gateway barriers to purchase across Greater China and provided solutions that were implemented and used as a platform to increase monetization across the region. • Discovered user experience concerns with localization of language in gameplay menus for FIFA in Japan and used this as a springboard for reducing player barriers in the development of the 2018 strategic plan. Once rectified the business gained an additional average 3 session days per user equating to an additional $2M in revenue.• Developed the first global ‘live' dashboards to identify gameplay server issues that allowed real time escalation paths. • Led a global buyer behavior project covering 10 markets that is used to offer EA a competitive advantage on how tailor campaigns to different buying cohorts.• Led the remodeling APAC promotional pricing by using predictive tools to identify consumer acquisition opportunities. This created revenue increases in low discretionary income markets. -

Senior Brand Director - Call Of DutyActivision Dec 2010 - Jan 2012Santa Monica, California, UsRESPONSIBILITIES• Responsible for running the Call of Duty business unit for Activision ANZ inclusive of commercial and marketing strategy and execution• Launched the most successful entertainment launch in ANZ history at the time ($16M in retail sales in 24hrs)• Established a relationship with Frucor Beverages that saw Modern Warfare 3 branding on 1.3M energy drink cans across Australia which was the first beverage partnership for Activision Blizzard in the Australian market• Negotiated with the relevant government bodies to ensure that the Modern Warfare 3 campaign was able to air a MA15+ advertisement during prime-time television; resulting in 1.7M targeted consumers seeing the advert on the night of ‘reveal' and a further 120,000 consumers accessing the Call of Duty website in the 8 hours post the ad running• This was a first for the local industry of which was copied by competitors in following years. -
