About Mark Collis

I am a senior finance executive with +25 years’ experience in global industrial services companies in both a listed and PE-backed environment. Strategic and commercial business partner to management teams, providing critical insights and delivering strong financial and operational results. Collaborative and results-driven leader able to flex between support and challenge. I build and develop high performing teams and individuals.I am currently the CFO of a c$3bn revenue division which is part of Wood Plc, a global services business focused on the Energy and Industrials sector. While at Wood, I have worked in the United States and have led geographically dispersed teams of up to c. 800 across multiple functions including Finance, Commercial and Supply Chain. Prior to Wood, I worked at Amec Foster Wheeler where I was the divisional CFO for Oil, Gas & Chemicals which was the largest division in the Group. I was also appointed by the Group CEO and CFO to lead a 9 month cost reduction programme which deliver £125m of cost savings just prior to our sale to Wood Plc.Before joining Foster Wheeler, I was the Group Financial Controller for a FTSE 250 Plc until 2008 when it was acquired for in a leveraged buyout led by Goldman Sachs. I spent 4 years working in a PE-backed environment and gained experience of multiple rounds of refinancing including overseeing investor relations for our publicly quioted high yield bond and regular meetings with our shareholders.
