I have enjoyed a unique career path that has enabled me to gain professional experience in multiple industries/sectors through data management and analysis. Grounded firmly in Geographic Information Systems and the unique aspects of geospatial data, I have been able to expand my capabilities to include database design and administration, data presentation/visualization, and data strategy advisory services. This firm technical foundation allowed me to take on the challenge of starting and operating my own consulting firm successfully for seven years. Operating a business offered the opportunity for me to learn and refine completely new skills: business development, customer service and project management. I find great satisfaction in being able to blend my technical background with leadership/managerial roles, and aim to continue developing both aspects of my career going forward.
