After a career split between finance and business strategy, I founded Outpost Advisors when it became apparent that I could partner with clients to do these things full time while also providing the wisdom and counsel that would help them win holistically in life.

Abraham's Wallet was started as a blog for those who wanted insights into what the thousands of bible verses about money actually said. At the Wallet, we cover personal finance, fatherhood, marriage, multigenerational planning and culture - and we write primarily for an audience of family men (though we love our readers of all genders). In 2019 Abraham's Wallet also launched a podcast that has grown popular within our existing audience and extended our reach to new groups.

As a group product manager at Experticity I oversee the strategic direction for our mobile, community, acquisition and qualification teams. This role involves managing the product owners for each of these teams, coordinating cross functional initiatives, developing our product testing and discovery acumen and exploring new revenue streams that emerge as we pursue the core business model. I am continuing to serve as the primary product manager for the mobile team as I build out the above product team.

As the product owner for the Community team at Backcountry, I drove the platform level strategy and execution around community and content features for Backcountry.com, CompetitiveCyclist.com and Dogfunk.com. We utilized small, iterative releases and extensive user testing to discover and develop products that increased user engagement and better surfaced authority, expertise and guidance on our websites.Previously, I filled the role of product owner for the Backcountry.com team and the Content & Customer Service teams. We launched major products around notifications, follow functionality, social integration to Backcountry, content surfacing and publishing, category expertise and customer service tools.I directly managed product managers, developers and the community manager, developing several new junior product managers into successful leaders in the organization.
