I enjoy being a delivery manager, it's a role I stepped into to fill a gap in the company after being a software tester for a while and have grown to make the role my own over many years. I enjoy finding ways to get things shipped to live as quickly as possible and getting rid of any blockers stopping this happening.I can build great relationships with all areas of the business. I have experience of working and interacting with Senior level team including the CEO & CTO, usually when demoing the latest update of work being delivered. Plus our Software Testers, Engineers and Product Managers day to day in order to get things delivered as quickly as possible but with good quality being produced. My role has also allowed me to work with many third party companies over the years, which means I have a professional manner expected to get the job done. I understand agile methodologies and can adapt to changes and dealing with priorities changing throughout the sprints.I am also a problem solver. I love to get to the bottom of those website issues that may have caused customers some sticky points online. I use all resources around me, including data to find the issue and make sure I get it solved as quickly and safely as possible. I have experience in software testing which I think benefits me in my delivery manager role, as I understand the process end to end. I love getting to know all the systems, software and platforms so that I have an umbrella understanding of how all systems connect together.I have a good end to end experience within a business, from contact centre experience to online advertising (PPC), to using social media to assist in selling the products I work in, plus I can also produce my own data reports (Looker), and happy to pick up news ones with a bit of training.
