I created the Miki Falls graphic novel series for HarperCollins, a 670-page manga saga personally overseen by Lemony Snicket's editor Susan Rich. Named by the ALA as one of 2007's best graphic novels, it has been optioned for film development by Paramount and Brad Pitt's Plan B.

Little, Brown hired me to re-illustrate "The Enormous Egg," the classic 1950's chapter book written by Oliver Butterworth.

Random House Children's books invited me to adapt my "Akiko" comic book series as a 10-book series of illustrated novels for young readers. Featured in USA Today and on CNN Headline News, it has sold more than 300,000 copies to date. My second Random House chapter book series, Billy Clikk, was featured in the NY Daily News and in Disney Adventures magazine.

Nickelodeon Magazine has been publishing my illustrations and comic strips for nearly a decade, hiring me both for my own creations and to write and illustrate comic strips for popular properties such as Spongebob Squarepants and The Rugrats.

I wrote and illustrated the Akiko comic book series from 1995-2004. Nominated for 13 Eisner awards, it landed me on Entertainment Weekly's "It list" in 1998 and was twice optioned for TV/film development in the late 90's.
