Responsible for all land surveying operations managed out of the Tulsa, Oklahoma office.

Manage Barnett Shale office and local land surveying projects primarily consisting of surveying activities related to gathering and transmission pipeline in the preliminary, construction, rehab and curative phases.

Manage Chesapeake Midstream pipeline projects in the Barnett Shale including soliciting additional projects, primary client contact, bidding, estimating, invoicing, construction feasibility, quality control, directing crews, technical staff and their managers. Developed a single pipeline project assignment into a substantial repeat business and received the “Blatant Acts of Excellence” award from Chesapeake.

Lead surveyor for Dallas Logistic Hub, a 6000 acre master planned logistics park and inland port project, handling in house production as well as coordinating the efforts of multiple sub-consultant surveying firms for acquisition and development needs which included primary control network, ALTA/ACSM Surveys, ROW design and acquisition surveys, and numerous exhibits. Recipient of "Outstanding Project Team of the Year" award.

Support branch manager in all surveying activities including builder surveys, ALTA/ACSM surveys, rail development, water/sewer infrastructure reconstruction, dirt quantities, GIS, and building/site layout. Integrated the use of least squares analysis to on-site site control which allowed crews to maintain tight positional tolerances, over extended times, for prefabricated construction components.

Solo surveyor and owner doing all marketing, bookkeeping, budgeting, equipment and supplies purchasing, research, fieldwork, drafting and quality control for the issuance of land title surveys. Developed practices to allow precise field work to be performed by one person without the aid of GPS or a robotic total station, and routinely produced residential title surveys within 24 hours.

Started the survey department and performed all surveying work including drafting, boundary, topographic and construction staking with the help of a single field assistant. Praised by a demanding client as having been responsible for the smoothest and fastest execution of a residential construction project that he had ever developed.

Manage client and contractors requests, line out up to 13 field crew members, prep field packets, QC plats and plans for residential land development. Wrote programs for the HP-32sII that allowed us to quickly check engineering plans.

Grew up surveying in the family surveying business beginning the summer after kindergarden and filling all rolls in the office and field as experience progressed. Transitioned with the company through the use of transits, theodolites, highway tapes, tellurometers, hand drafting, top mound EDM's, total stations, CAD, data collectors, and GPS. Performed trouble shooting on GPS systems and data to such a high level that the manufacturers tech support would request my assistance in resolving issues then publish the solutions in their internal tech support newsletters. Demonstrated to SMI how to control GPS receivers with a HP-48 which led to the first commercial GPS survey data collector utilizing a calculator platform.

Assisted platoon sergeant in all aspects of keeping the operational level of the platoon at optimal levels at all times. Developed tactics which resulted in our mock engagement survivability rate to be the best in the Battalion.
