The Elephants Dream

This was my final project for the Audio Production using Pro Tools Software in the Multimedia Program at L.C.C.. It took about 80+ hours to edit in 87 different sound effects and voice overs. 90% of what you see in a movie is sound effects, voice overs and music. Audio production is an amazing field of study. In this class project my task was to pick a movie clip from the Blender Animation movie short called The Elephants Dream. I just happen to pick one of the most complicated and challenging clips one in the bunch. Anyway I gained a wealth of knowledge from this project about professional audio editing using Pro Tools software. I'm proud to present this in my resume. Enjoy.

The Funky Chicken

This was the final project using everything we learned about using Final Cut Pro and Concepts to Visual Literacy in the class. The assignment was to produce a movie short with a beggining, middle and an end that had to be kept within 5 minutes in length. Everyone had to be their own director, producer, writer, editor had to find their own talent to perform. Thankfully my good friend Rory stepped up to play all the crazy parts to my first wacky short film. I made the deadline and received a B+ grade on my final and for the class.

Instructional Video/How To Change A Tire

This was a group project to create a 3 minute instructional video. Cramming all the steps of changing a tire turned out to be a real challenge. I think we covered most of the basic steps. We met the deadline and we all got an A on this project.

This class silent film project was to show the basic concepts of film making using only camera shots and music to evoke mood and feeling. I drew up a storyboard, added and deducted from it by brainstormed ideas with a group of five that quickly turned to two. The task and challenge was to find an unauthorized or no trespassing location for our story. I knew the guys at B&R Wrecking and they agreed to participate as talent and access to the gates. I made sure we used lots of different camera angles and utilized those concepts we were learning in the class. Also custom made the music to go in sync and on time with each photo as they appear.
