About Mark Dansie

With over nine years of experience as an OCP Ready Lead and Data Center Transformation Specialist at the Open Compute Project Foundation, I am passionate about supporting the OCP community and helping data centers certify as OCP Ready v2 for Hyperscale and OCP Ready v1. Developed under the leadership of Google and Meta within the OCP Data Center Facility Project, it empowers a data center operator to evaluate their facility's alignment with the specific requirements of hyperscale wholesale and Open Rack deployments.As the OCP Ready Facilities lead I championed and contributed to the creation of the Colo Facility Guidelines for Open Racks and the Colo Site Assessment documents, which are essential resources for the OCP Ready program. I also represent OCP as an ambassador for OpenUK, a non-profit organization that promotes and supports open source software, hardware, and data in the UK. My core competencies include programme and project management for data centre and infrastructure projects. I hold multiple certifications and memberships in these fields and have authored and contributed to various OCP white papers and guidelines within multiple projects.
