Continuing to report to the Head of Global SAP Services, I now led a team of Senior SAP functional consultants covering the ASPAC time zone with global accountability for the SAP system working in a follow the sun model with Europe and Americas. The team I led supported the growth to servicing 180+ countries and more than 1800 Interfaces for critical business processes 24x7. I advised and provided expert knowledge, guidance, and solutions on business-critical issues and led implementation, maintenance, and continuous Improvement projects in line with strategic objectives.The main highlight was accomplishing stability of the SAP system during the complex rapid local-global SAP transformation program, progressing from 7-180 countries, 20-1800 interfaces, with 10,000 change requests in a 2.5-year timeframe. I managed high priority issues and proactively worked to keep it stable and performing. The system now provides common data enabling global transparency, decision making and solutions and a great platform for digitisation.We enabled business users to report on both live and archived SAP data seamlessly and react quickly to any ad hoc requests for data, having implemented a fast archive add-on to SAP ECC (PBS and AEC). We also supported timely ad hoc access to large volumes of data for audit purposes.I accomplished silent running, stable, SAP system without major impacts to business processes having proactively conducted SAP system improvements in performance tuning, error reduction, self-healing, and automation. I reduced bottlenecks and ensured a predictable pattern for processing business transactions in the SAP system. After implementing batch job harmonization we were able to distribute batch job processing load across the business day.I supported the In Situ Migration of 30TB SAP ECC6 system on Oracle to BSoH (Business Suite on HANA). I also ensured smooth implementation, conducting quality assurance of new solutions delivered for the SAP ECC solution.

Reporting to the Head of Global SAP Services, I led a team of Senior SAP Functional Consultants to conduct development and operational management in a business-as-usual state and system lifecycle providing a steady state solution 24x7, for SAP solutions for Australasia. I engaged with regional and global stakeholders, 3rd party suppliers and business units and managed quality assurance of all SAP change requests, ensuring adherence of security policy and audit key controls.I collaborated with all stakeholders involved in service operations, planned and coordinated maintenance activities, reviewed and optimised the performance of the system, ensured stability of the service and contributed, led and consulted on implementation projects.A highlight for me was accomplishing fully automated and consistent measurement of all SAP IT key controls for all global SAP systems. I implemented an automated solution for measuring and managing the key controls locally and deployed globally as system owner for Australasia SAP System. After taking on the role, I achieved the closure of all high priority audit findings with permanent robust solutions. I inherited ownership of the Australasia SAP System where there had been no prior permanent ownership, leading to minimal controls. I implemented SAP GRC to manage access management, segregation of duties and super user access.I consulted on the 3PL (DHL) integration project for both Australia and New Zealand and developed a Global Audit Compliance monitoring tool which was deployed to all of BAT SAP Systems with the Global SAP Solution Manager being the central Dashboard for compliance.I migrated SAP R/3 systems from Australia to European Data Centre whilst implementing Oracle ACO, implemented the SAP Firefighter (EAM/SPM) solution for Super User Access using a customised approval solution, managed 3rd Party offshore suppliers providing application support and managed and Implemented change requests for the SAP R/3 system.
