There are very few things more important than loving your work. My passion is to provide value and solve business problems for organisations leveraging the power of cutting-edge technology. I have had the opportunity to do this every single day of my career. I run a small mentoring business in partnership with Latrobe University to mentor the next generation of technologists in Australia; the business is called EverySaturday and doubles as a promoter of positive mental health outcomes for workers in the tech sector globally. My endeavours started small in the role of Managed Services Engineer, where I had the opportunity to grow technically and commercially, achieving excellent client outcomes and building a sustainable, recurring revenue business. Once I felt the job satisfaction of helping organizations achieve their goals through strategic programs of work, I was hooked!In the following years, I have not changed the approach, but during my career, I have evolved into a passionate leader of high-performing, globally distributed teams. As the industry has evolved, I have moved into a strategic, ‘trusted advisor’ type role, supporting the customer base.I'm a believer in maintaining a proactive relationship with the client, demonstrating a collaborative approach while also being highly agile and divergent in my thinking, setting the strategy and focusing on client needs.My career has taken me from being "on the tools" to managing my first P&L and meeting growth targets to directing global entities' commercial offerings across multiple practices, with brilliant results.
