I have had the opportunity to do this every single day of my career. I run a small mentoring business in partnership with Latrobe University to mentor the next generation of technologists in Australia; the business is called EverySaturday and doubles as a promoter of positive mental health outcomes for workers in the tech sector globally. My endeavours started small in the role of Managed Services Engineer, where I had the opportunity to grow technically and commercially, achieving excellent client outcomes and building a sustainable, recurring revenue business. Once I felt the job satisfaction of helping organizations achieve their goals through strategic programs of work, I was hooked!In the following years, I have not changed the approach, but during my career, I have evolved into a passionate leader of high-performing, globally distributed teams.
