A highly skilled and self-motivated commercial professional, I have over 23 years’ experience in the energy sector, including industrial, oil & gas, nuclear, petrochemical and thermal industries. My specialism is in contract and legal document drafting and negotiations and I am fully conversant with all types of standard form contracts commonly used in the above industries (including NEC, FIDIC, IChemE and LOGIC). I also have a wealth of experience in delivering and supporting post contract activities in achieving their commercial objectives.I have an eye for detail which is complemented by strong analytical and problem solving skills all of which are required for drafting and reviewing complex legal documents and providing commercial based solutions and identifying and mitigating risk. I am equally proficient at working in small, medium and large teams where a positive attitude, can do spirit and effective communication skills are essential.I am currently advancing my legal skills and training with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) to attain a professional accreditation as a trained lawyer enabling me to combine legal knowledge (and qualifications) to my existing commercial knowledge, experience and Quantity Surveying qualification.
