As Chief Technology Officer at Envestnet Inc., Mark is responsible for all aspects of technology and architecture strategy, providing expertise on strategic corporate technology initiatives in support of the company’s software-as-a-service platform offerings. Mark has over 30 years of experience in designing, architecture, and implementing large-scale financial services applications and products with a specific focus on wealth management, including portfolio accounting, portfolio modeling, trading, and performance measurement. Mark is a seasoned leader and entrepreneur known for his emphasis on providing operationally scalable solutions and the ability to evolve and meet the dynamic challenges within the industry.Before Envestnet, Mark was the CTO at FolioDynamix, prior to that he formed a wealth management consulting company that serviced leading financial services institutions, including Goldman Sachs, UBS, Prudential, and Morgan Stanley, providing system architecture and design guidance for mission-critical applications as well as go-to-market strategies for new and expanding financial products. Mark has also created wealth management products such as portfolio construction and accounting, performance measurement, and research analytics. As CTO, Mark created the Stratevie portal where financial advisors could review aggregated asset manager information including performance metrics, commentary, and videos.
