My career in broadcasting began at the age of 14 as a weekend announcer at 1410 CIGO in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. At that time, I was one of the youngest radio personalities in North America. I hosted my own show, The Heart of Rock and Roll and a weekly top 30 countdown. As a reporter, I covered topics ranging from federal elections and natural disasters to major sporting events. From there, my career has taken me across the country behind the microphone and in front of the camera. Some personal career highlights for me include co-hosting the first season of CBC’s Hockeyville, working as a professional actor for film and television, and organizing and playing celebrity/NHL hockey games for charity.
