Visteon is a Tier 1 automotive sub-system supplier with global operations.Since March 2011 I have been working on HVAC product designs for two programs. I have been providing DFM overview and worked with tooling suppliers to product the injection molds for both programs. I was PD lead to setup and coordinate remote assembly operation to support M1 build requirements for 2 HVAC programs. I coordinated all the tooling reviews and approvals for 20 housings tools. I worked with our contract operators to set up assembly process and tested every assembly prior to shipping to customer. Engineering lead to win $2 million in new business wins for two intake manifold program for our South Africa operations which involved with working with customer engineering operations in South Africa and Germany also supported manufacturing with location a low cost tooling vendor is South Korea.I provided global support to our South Africa operations to transfer intake manifold production from a Brazilian supplier to South Africa operation. Had to identify new low cost tooling source in South Koreas and participated in tool design review in South Korea to kick of tooling. Took design lead and training responsibility for new Technical Engineering Center in Pune, India which involved travel to India to interview engineers and customer meetings. Show less
