In September 2015 I took up a new role with responsibility for Apprenticeship and Engagement on behalf of the College of Engineering and Built Environment at Dublin Institute of Technology.In that role, I was bullied from before I started to the day I left the role. I was lied about by a colleague from before I even knew I had been appointed.

I was previously employed as a lecturer at the DIT (Dublin Institute of Technology) School of Computing.My core duties involved designing and delivering modules and programmes to undergraduate and graduate students of the DIT School of Computing. The list of subjects taught was very varied, from graphics, and mobile software development to system architecture and administration, Network Programming, Cisco Networking and Cloud Computing.I also had many other responsibilities including:For ten years I was responsible for the Student Placement, Graduate Placement and Industry Engagement at the School. During this time, I developed our student placement programmes from a single programme with twelve students to four programmes with over one hundred students being placed each year. During this time I developed a very extensive and strong network with former classmates, students and industry partners in Ireland and globally.I was responsible for the design and implementation of IT networks to support the academic work at the School. This involved designing flexible solutions for teaching and learning such as the Windows and Linux networks and thin-client and PC labs in the School.I was actively involved in research at the school having chaired the IT&T Conference in 2009 and helping to organise and presenting a paper at a conference on Internationalisation in Education in September 2014.
