Business ownership for the Cisco 3000 family of Wireless Access Points, and Modular Radio products – million+ unit run rate with $1B+ in revenue annually.Public facing leader of my products and solutions- Point on next generation 802.11ac discussions- Support, Define and Drive a modular solutions architecture for our Access Points- Engage with customers via EBCs, Webex, Visits, industry shows & events, CiscoLive- Deliver outbound updates via a variety of mediums "podcasts, blogs, Cisco TechWise TV, Twitter, ..."Owning requirements definition (Product Requirement Documents) and driving them through the waterfall or agile process as appropriate- Define all aspects of the solution & product requirements, market & competitive drivers, key differentiation, product & market transition points, partner opportunities, UI/UX requirements, ...- Drove delivery of the Flexible Radio Assignment solution, single XOR radio able to adapt its personality and capability depending on the customers network needs- Defined first Virtual BLE capability built around an integrated Bluetooth radio in our access points- Work closely with engineering from cradle to grave, on all aspect of the HW and SW elements of the product - Business aspects - TAM, Pricing, Forecast, Demand planning, Order tracking, EOL process, ...- Go to market launch plans, beta program, market seeding, Business & Technical field & customer data, Competitive position and internal positionWorking closely with the field, partners, customers

Day to day responsibility for:- Support and drive the QoS and Firewall Filter roadmap on the MX platforms- Delivery of a software feature parity program for our upcoming 100GbE line card- Work across Juniper BUs to deliver new features and solutions involving the MX series

Senior PLM within the Service Provider team in Brocade’s IP Products BU, with day to day responsibility for:- IPv4 and IPv6 routing protocols, defining a IPv4 to IPv6 transition feature set- Interfacing with the US Federal field organization, and gathering and filtering their requirements Defining a Service Provider “Cloud” insertion strategy- Service Provider interface with Brocade’s ADX Layer 4 thru 7 Load Balancing product group

Work closely with all facets of engineering and the marketing organization to bring hardware and software solutions to market. In addition to general day to day customer and field support, I have a responsibility for 4 major areas:- The definition and delivery of new high density 10GbE-40GbE-100GbE line cards, supporting the new converged Ethernet capabilities. Conservatively the first of these new line cards will add $120m in revenue over the first 3 years.- Deriving new market and revenue opportunities from Network Visibility, application aware and ability to report on it – leveraging JFlow, sFlow, IPFIX for reporting- Point person for enabling and integrating network virtualization technology, specifically the MPLS and L2 feature sets within JUNOS, on our EX modular switches.- Manage day to day software release planning, coordinate feature roll-out on a quarterly release basis looking 12-15 months out. Interfacing with various field organizations and customers

- Covering variety of Security related features and solutions on the Cisco ISR line of routers

During my time within the Service Router organization I was responsible for the subscriber management (authentication and address allocation space) and a new network visibility (deep packet inspection) solution.The network visibility solution is a hardware based services module/card for the Service Edge routers and provides complete awareness of traffic & applications at the individual subscriber level. Enable Service Providers, the ability to manage their network at the user session level and create new opportunities to monetize their networks and product offerings. At the core of the network visibility solution is a rich DPI infrastructure and extensive policy language for flexibly interrogating the traffic and applying actions.The network visibility product is sold as a half slot “services” card, with a target opportunity size of $75m in direct revenue annually.

• Initial PLM in a new software focused product management team within the Desktop Switching BU• Introduced a full time focus on software across the BU switches and working with other switching BU's• Worked closely with the software engineering group for Enterprise class switches • Drove new requirement for our switches into the central IOS and central Security Tech groups• Worked in a small team driving software licensing on next generation DSBU switches• Defined first Switching Stack MIB for Cisco switches- Other Day to Day responsibilities: PRDs, working with customers and field sales, working with marketing

• PLM responsbile for IP Services and IP Mobility• IP Services = DHCP/DNS , NAT, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP• IP Mobility = Mobile IP (HA, FA, MN, Mobile Router), Adhoc/MANET routing- Delivered Stateful NAT Active-Active, enabling high availability address translation services- Delivered a dynamically loadable Application Layer Gateways architecture in NAT, allowing faster time to market for new applications and protocols- Worked with the Access BU to build & deliver the industries first Mobile Router product based on software developed by the IOS team I worked with

• Managed a team of PM's covering the areas of IP Services and Security within Cisco IOS• IP Services = DHCP/DNS, NAT, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, Mobile IP (HA, FA, MN, Mobile Router)• Security = ACL, Firewall, IDS/IPS, IPsec, PKI- Created Enhanced Object Tracking (EOT) feature, to monitor the state of an interface or destination IP devices and trigger a policy decision for networking devices- Delivered industries first Mobile Router software capability based on the initial Mobile IP RFC 2002,- Delivered On-Demand Address Pool capability to optimize IP address pool delivery to SP edge routing devices, forerunner of IPv6 Prefix Delegation

• Senior PM responsibility for several features within Cisco IOS "DHCP/DNS, NAT, HSRP, Mobile IP (HA, FA, MN, Mobile Router), ACLs"- Delivered Gateway Load Balancing Protocol (GLBP) a layer 3 load sharing & distribution protocol, an evolution to HSRP (Cisco defined) and VRRP providing traffic distribution and adaptive resiliency- Delivered Router Auto-Config capability via DHCP , including the creation of several new DHCP options
