Vice President and Operations Manager, responsible for leading the operations for Turner Construction’s Carolinas Region based in the Charlotte NC Office. Prior to joining the Carolinas Region, I was the General Manager for both the Cleveland & Atlanta Offices and have been a VP & General Manager for Turner since 2008. Responsible for annual revenue of $600m with a professional staff of 275+.Mark’s career with Turner began in 1985 with his first assignment in the firm’s New York office. Mark eventually had operations responsibilities for the firm’s Northern Ohio business units which include both Cleveland and Toledo (for The Lathrop Company). He also managed the Cleveland office’s Special Projects Division, which meets the needs of clients who want Turner’s expertise for their interiors and other jobs. Some of the high profile projects he has been involved with include: Carolinas: The Bank of America Stadium Upgrades, The Boeing Company North Charleston , multiple confidential Data Centers and Clemson University’s Watt Family Innovation Center and Little John Arena Renovations; Atlanta (2014 - 2018): Renovation of State Farm Arena, UGA Terry Business School, Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange, Paulding County Jail, Forstyh County Courthouse and Jail. Cleveland: The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, KeyBank Tower, Playhouse Square Theatre restorations, Cleveland Medical Mart and Convention Center, several projects at the Cleveland Clinic; and Toledo: the former Owens Illinois World Headquarters, and Huntington Center.Healthcare Experience as Leader or Principal:Summa Health 120,000 sf 100 bed CCUCleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital ExpansionNew Cleveland Clinic Twinsburg HospitalMarymount Hospital OR expansionNortheast Georgia - Braselton CampusRoper St Frances - North CharlestonCleveland Clinic Beachwood Family Care He is an active on the executive board of the Boy Scouts of America.

Benning Hospital, the Forsyth County Adult Detention Center, Paulding County Jail, State Farm Arena Renovations, Great Wolf Lodge and UGA Terry Business School.The Atlanta / Carolinas Operation has a full time professional staff of 300 and an hourly trades group of approximately 75 people. Average revenue in the range of $550m to $650m. Segments include healthcare, higher education, K-12, mission critical facilities, sports, justice, hospitality and various commercial projects. In January 2019 Mark has relocated back to the Charlotte from Atlanta and is based in the Charlotte NC Turner Office. His focus is on the growth of the Carolinas Region.With a nationwide network of offices, Turner is the only builder to combine broad geographic reach with local delivery, providing clients with both the extensive resources they demand and the close-to-home focus they desire. The company completes approximately $10 billion annually in construction volume.
