About Mark Desantis
Mark DeSantis has been a Senior Product Manager working with the Commercial Pharma division within GSK.Prior to GSK Mark was the Managing Director of Product and Data Management for Morningstar Credit Ratings since his company, Realpoint LLC, was purchased by Morningstar in 2010. Mark is responsible for the product development and management of all structured finance and corporate related products at Morningstar Credit Ratings. Prior to Realpoint LLC being acquired by Morningstar, Mark was the Managing Director of Product Management and Managing Partner for Realpoint LLC where he was responsible for developing the Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities product and managing the Private Client Services department.Mark led the Product Management and Private Client Services department since Realpoint was founded in 2000 when it was a wholly-owned department within GMAC Commercial Mortgage. In 2007, Mark was part of the management team that purchased Realpoint. He worked with regulators and helped Realpoint acquire an NRSRO license from the SEC in 2008. This license allowed Realpoint to provide credit ratings for the structured finance industry. In 2010, Realpoint was acquired by Morningstar.
