Mark has over 45 years of experience in telecommunications deployment and management. During the 1990s, Mark held management and director level positions with Cox Communications and Cox Business. He is widely considered one of th e founder of Cox Fibernet. He was the lead liaison between Cox Corporate and each of the Cox Business markets on sales, marketing and operational related matters and, specifically, business plan success. Mark led successful negotiations between Cox and all national/world network carriers at the time - AT&T/MCI/Sprint/etc. – an effort that had not been done before in the Cable Television space. Mark’s other significant achievements include 12 years in sales and business development with Charles River and Redpoint backed startups: Broadband Access Systems and BigBand Networks and holds many awards during his tenure. Prior to Cox Business, Mark held several management positions related to post-M&A integration activity with one of the nation’s largest independent telephone companies at the time, Contel. Mark and his wife, Robbie, have been married over 40 years and have two adult children, Corie and Kyle.
