Colorado Springs, Colorado Area

Led 400-person team in operating a $1.5B physical plant consisting of 205 facilities (3.6M square feet) and associated infrastructure. Conducted 24-hour snow removal operations for 6 months annually.• Authored winter energy contingency plan; reduced base power use 7%--best of all users in Anchorage• Worked with Planning Division counterparts to develop and implement 5-year infrastructure improvement programs.

- Led one US civilian, two military and 18 UK Ministry of Defence personnel in managing the Public Works Department’s budget, real estate, information technology and dormitory offices.- Responsible for developing, defending and executing the squadron's $20M annual budget. - Led 12 military personnel responsible for the installation’s Emergency Management program; ensured readiness of community personnel for natural disasters and major aircraft accidents.- Directed the installation's nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) defense training, plus three levels of hazardous materials training courses.
