I have vast experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Media Relations, Corporate Communications and Broadcast Media.Currently I am the Public Information Manager for the City of Boca Raton Police Services Department. In this capacity I handle media, press releases, social media, website content and audio/video segments.I was Media Relations Specialist for Citizens Bank of RI, the 8th largest bank in the U.S. I assisted in all media, releases, events, crisis communications and publicity. I also wrote all talking points for executive speeches and presentations.Previously I led the Public Relations department as Director of Media Relations for Cote & D'Ambrosio, a Public Relations, Marketing & Advertising firm in Wickford, RI. I represented all clients’ media and crisis communications needs. I handled all event management, this included setting up agendas, talking points, photographers and all event coordination. For each of these clients I acted as spokesperson to local and national media, wrote all client press releases, managed the budget of each client, and wrote articles for publications, brochures, websites and news releases. I have had many stories in national publications like USA Today, national trade magazines, coverage on NBC Nightly News, CNN, Fox News and all local media including print, radio and television. Prior to becoming Director of Media Relations I spent nearly a decade in television news at WPRI/WNAC-TV, the CBS and FOX affiliate in Providence, Rhode Island as a reporter, anchor and manager. Also, for a two of those years I was Executive Editor of the newsroom at WPRI. In that position I was second in charge under the News Director.
