Generally speaking, nothing brings me more career satisfaction than contributing to the growth of companies and culture.Having had the pleasure of working in the Talent space for over 13 years across a variety of industries including venture capital, high-growth startups, corporate enterprises, small businesses, and staffing agencies- I would emphasize that my career experience grants me a unique perspective into the components I view as essential to building a successful recruiting engine from the ground up: creating a culture of collaboration, successfully managing and mentoring high-performing talent professionals, conducting full cycle recruitment, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, overseeing talent strategy & workforce planning, and optimizing recruitment processes.As a leader, I'm passionate about showing up authentically and extending compassion & empathy to everyone I collaborate with. Outside of work, I'm passionate about reading (LOTR, Stephen King, Harry Potter, Cal Newport, Sam Harris- you name it!), exercise (most recently getting into Orange Theory), gaming (Xbox/PC/PS/Nintendo), Dungeons & Dragons, and music - specifically composing, playing (guitar/bass, piano) and listening (I'm expanding my vinyl collection all of the time). I love to challenge myself by continuing education in a variety of hobbies, ranging from building guitars, building gaming PCs, taking up Classical music-focused piano lessons, repairing grandfather clocks, and writing fiction- to name a few. In my spare time I serve on the Executive Committee (Technology Chair) of the ProMusica Sustaining Board as I am a huge supporter of Classical music.
