I serve as Director of IT business analysis within a global manufacturing public company. As of October 2024, I have been involved in multiple successful implementations of SAP ECC 6.0 for domestic and foreign sites. Wheeltime was set up as a marketing arm for 17 independent distributors of Detroit diesel engines encompassing over 200 individual locations.Worked closely with the Wheeltime marketing team and external developers to create website presence. Completed major project to create a buyer/supply portal (called Wheeltime Exchange) linking the 17 independent distributors to common vendors with the goal of increasing buying power. Attended multiple trade shows to demo the buyer/supplier portal to potential suppliersSelected accomplishments:● Cost reductions of 20% on common items such as Freon were realized by the combined buying power of the 17 distributors through the buyer/suppler portal. (Wheeltime Exchange)● Sales of specialty items such as APU’s (Auxiliary Power Units) and maintenance items such as tune-up kits were increased because of periodic supplier specials to the membership and communication to the trucker database.● Worked with a software firm to streamline the process for estimating engine repair by correlating engine diagnostic results with standard parts and labor costs. This significantly reduced the time for the repair department to give a trucker a cost and downtime estimate.● Developed merchandise website and sourced Wheeltime promotional products such as caps, t-shirts, polos, cups, etc.
