As co-founder and senior partner at Walker Eisenbraun, I counsel clients with respect to corporate, securities and transactional matters, with an emphasis on counseling businesses seeking financing in the private and public markets. With over three decades of practice with national law firms in the areas of corporate, securities, finance, and mergers and acquisitions, I represent clients in the full range of corporate and commercial legal matters, from middle market companies to substantial private enterprises preparing to go public, and public companies listed on major stock exchanges throughout the world. I also previously served as the chief operating officer of a retailer, where I oversaw the successful turnaround and sale of the company. Clients trust my strategic business judgment as I guide them through the most complex of legal matters.I earned my law degree from The University of Texas School of Law, and both a B.A. and a M.A. from The University of Oxford. I am also a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of South Dakota, have completed culinary school, and worked professionally for several years as a baker. I like to read, write, and speak in other languages, and love hiking surrounded by natural and man-made wonders as I travel around the world. I serve on the board of the Pine Ridge Girls School, the first ever Native American all-girls college preparatory school, located on the Oglala Sioux Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota.
