Accompolishments -Midas Dearborn (Conduent) – Led project to migrate 135 TB of data from Dearborn MI & Tucson, AZ to corporate storage facility in New Jersey. Key tasks included: Virtualization of Physical Servers to Virtual Machines. Installation of 10GB migration circuit. Migration of 40+ VPN Customer Data Connections to SSL Data Connections. Decommissioning of Hardware to 3rd Party Reseller. Return of physical server disks to Customer in Tucson, AZ.Wilmington, Delaware - Magellan office upgrade. (Metlife) - Project budget: $3M, final project cost $1.75M.Key tasks included: Consolidate 300 employees from single tenant 10 floor office to 3 floors of a multi-tenant site. Project involved - ATT and MetLife Voice, Broadband / Wireless and Data Engineering, Server Storage Operations, Cabling, Video Tele-Conferencing, Email, HP Print and Desktop Support Services and site security.MetOnline Project Two PhasesKey tasks included: Phase 1 - Directed project working with AIS, application software development, IT risk and server operations to improve server capability for customers using the MetOnline website for Open Enrollment.Project Enhancements included better backend functionality with AIS, Middleware, DataPower and Siteminder teams; adding additional capacity on shared servers and CPU speed to handle increasing numbers of customers using the site. Phase 2 - Worked with AIS and server operations to add additional INT and DEV clusters to the Linux environment to enable work on multiple monthly releases concurrently.
